The French talent, who plays for the San Antonio Spurs, continues to solidify his status as one of the top stars in world basketball. A successful season and standout performances have made him the logical choice to be the face of the new installment in the NBA 2K series.

The trend of featuring international stars on the game’s cover has been going on for several years now. In the previous version, NBA 2K26, the main character was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the “Oklahoma City Thunder,” and the cover of NBA 2K22 featured Luka Dončić, who at the time played for the “Dallas Mavericks.”
