Ukrainian wins lottery jackpot
Viktor Ivanovich won 350,808 UAH and dreams of moving to a village. The jackpot carries emotional significance after the loss of his wife.
At the end of November 2025, 63-year-old Kyiv resident Viktor Ivanovich won over UAH 350,000. The winner said he always hoped for a big prize, but in reality, he worked toward victory for many years. He plans to spend his winnings on buying a house and moving to the countryside.
As officially reported by the lottery operator M.S.L, the lucky ticket brought the man UAH 350,808 in the 095th Sportprognoz draw. The winner himself admitted that it rained all day on the day he bought the ticket, and he took it as a good omen.
According to Viktor Ivanovich, he became interested in sports predictions about 30 years ago. The jackpot in his life is not the first, although he had not won significant amounts before.
“Once I predicted 12 results, but back then I had to share the prize”
– said the winner. He added that despite this, he never lost faith in a big win and often spoke about it at home.
“I always told my wife that I would win the jackpot and we would buy a private house somewhere in the village. We can’t live in an apartment in Troieshchyna forever”
– the winner noted.
He added that this win also has emotional significance: Viktor Ivanovich’s wife passed away earlier this year, but the dream, he says, remained.
“Of course, the dream of a house remained, because we dreamed about it together. I want to live in the village so my grandchildren can come visit”
– he shared.
The winner said he still works and does not plan to be idle. He has long been interested in football and regularly makes predictions, especially on weekends when more matches take place.
“I have been interested in football for a long time. I often bet against expectations – trying to find unexpected results. I rely more on intuition than on statistics”
– the Kyiv resident said.
In the winning draw, he bet UAH 840, using an incomplete prediction system. According to Viktor Ivanovich, the day before the win, he had a strange but pleasant premonition.
“It rained all day that day, and I decided it was a good omen”
– he recalled.
The winner also shared a funny story that happened after the jackpot was won.
“Before I officially claimed the jackpot, I came to collect the prize... People nearby were discussing who had won, and I stood there, listened – and quietly went home”
– he recounted.
