The Ukrainian national team concluded its Esports Nations Cup 2026 Counter-Strike 2 qualifying campaign. In the decisive match for a place at the World Championship, Ukraine lost to Poland 1-2 in maps.

The series began on Ancient, the map selected by Ukraine. However, Poland delivered the stronger performance and claimed a 13:9 victory to take the lead in the series.

Ukraine responded on Anubis, Poland's map pick. The Blue and Yellow side produced a confident display, leveled the series with an identical 13:9 scoreline, and forced a deciding map.

The final World Championship spot was decided on Cache. Despite several spectacular moments from the Ukrainian players, including impressive knife kills, they were unable to keep the contest even. Poland comfortably closed out the decider with a 13:5 victory.

As a result, Ukraine's national team was eliminated from the qualification and failed to reach the final stage of the Esports Nations Cup 2026. It was the Ukrainian team's debut qualification campaign in the new international tournament for national teams.
