Ukrainian-language livestreaming continues to grow rapidly and is gradually becoming a distinct segment of digital media. According to analytics platform Streams Charts, the core audience of livestreams today consists of young adults rather than teenagers, as was the case several years ago.
Men make up the largest share of viewers, accounting for around 90% of the total audience. At the same time, nearly half of all users belong to Generation Z and younger Millennials under the age of 30. Teenagers account for just over 20% of the audience, indicating the gradual "maturing" of the Ukrainian streaming market.
The typical viewer of Ukrainian-language streams is a man aged between 20 and 29 who is studying or just starting his career. Most members of this audience are not yet married, while more than 70% earn less than $20,000 per year, largely due to the high number of students and young professionals.
Video games remain the most popular category, attracting more than 76% of viewers. At the same time, esports appeals to roughly half of the audience, showing that not all gamers regularly follow professional tournaments.
Analysts also highlight the growing importance of streamers themselves. Nearly 40% of users tune into broadcasts primarily because of the content creator rather than a specific game or esports discipline.
In addition, around 40% of the audience is interested in computers, PC components, and consumer electronics, making the Ukrainian livestreaming segment one of the most attractive platforms for technology brands.
Overall, Ukrainian streams have long outgrown being just gaming entertainment. Today, they represent a fully developed digital media space that combines video games, technology, content creators, and modern internet culture.
