Ukrainian strongman Pavlo Kordiaka competed in the most prestigious tournament among the world’s strongest men—the World’s Strongest Man 2026 in the U.S.
Over the course of several days, 25 athletes from around the world competed for the title of the strongest man on the planet.
According to the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration, in the competition’s final, the Ukrainian made it into the top four and tied for fourth place with Czech athlete Ondřej Fojt.
In the Log Lift event, he lifted 191 kg; in the Atlas Stones challenge, he completed four stones in 32.70 seconds; and in the Flip & Carry discipline, he recorded a time of 33.80 seconds.
Based on the results of all events, the Ukrainian scored 31.5 points and finished ahead of a number of titled rivals, including former world champion Martins Līcis.
The tournament was won by Canadian Mitchell Hooper, with the silver going to Rhino Nel of South Africa and the bronze to American Trey Mitchell."
