NAVI has disbanded its Dota 2 academy team
The renowned Ukrainian esports organization has discontinued support for its youth roster in Dota 2. This decision will impact the development of young talent within the team.
"The Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere has announced the temporary suspension of the NAVI Junior project in Dota 2.
The club explained that the decision was made following an analysis of the team's results. Despite winning the UESF Ukrainian Championship 2026 Stage 1, the young roster was unable to demonstrate consistent performance in European online tournaments, which was the key factor in the project’s closure. At the same time, the organization emphasized that it does not rule out the return of NAVI Junior to Dota 2 in the future.
It is also noted that 15-year-old player Oleksiy “onLitaL” Litovka will remain within the NAVI organization. He will continue his development by gaining playing experience on other teams.
NAVI thanked players gbc, krol9ash, Gothic-, Hyuga, as well as coach Sword_Art for their work under the club’s banner.
The club announced that it will continue to work with young talent through its academic initiatives, including the NAVI Visa Academy and other projects, which remain key entry points for players aspiring to reach the professional level.
