This allows the company to launch online casino products on one of the most strictly regulated and mature gambling markets in Europe, starting in January 2026.

The B+ license gives Meridianbet the right to operate a full online casino platform, including slots, table games, and automated live dealer games, complementing its existing sports betting operations in Belgium. This significantly expands the company's presence in the Belgian market beyond its seven-year experience in betting.

According to the Belgian Gaming Commission, in 2023 the gross revenue of online gambling in Belgium reached €944.6 million, an 18% increase over the previous year. Online casinos generated €455 million, showing a 20.2% annual growth and becoming the largest market segment.

The Belgian market is highly concentrated: 10 operators control 94% of all online bets, while a total of 24 active licenses operate in the country. Belgium has one of the strictest online gambling regulatory systems in Europe, including comprehensive licensing requirements, strict player protection protocols, and high compliance standards overseen by the Belgian Gaming Commission.
