The 18-year-old Ukrainian boxer defeated Daria Lyagotska in the final of the tournament in Bila Tserkva.

18-year-old Ukrainian boxer Kira Makogoneko became the Ukrainian champion among junior women in the 54 kg weight class. The competition took place in Bila Tserkva and brought together the country’s leading athletes.

In the final bout, Kira Makogoneko confidently defeated Daria Lyagotska, who represents the Cherkasy region, and won the gold medal at the national championship.

Thanks to this success, the Ukrainian athlete earned the right to compete at the U-19 World Championship.

It is worth noting that she previously made her professional boxing debut on March 21 at the Rising Stars boxing event organized by Usyk 17 Promotions, where she won by unanimous decision over Polina Dovginka.
