A married couple from the United Kingdom has won more than €1 million in the lottery for the second time, testing their luck again seven years after their first win. Despite the million-euro prize, they continue their usual way of life, with Richard working as a courier and Faye providing mental health consultations.
This was reported by Mirror. The couple received their first win seven years ago, and this time the lucky ticket brought them the same amount again after matching five main numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto lottery on November 26.
Forty-nine-year-old courier Richard and forty-three-year-old psychotherapist Faye say the second win is proof that faith and luck can work miracles, even when the odds seem incredibly low. Despite the second million, the couple plans to continue their usual lifestyle, with Richard working seven days a week delivering Christmas parcels and Faye continuing to consult her mental health clients, including during the holiday period.
The first lottery win significantly changed the couple’s life. Faye left her job as a nurse and obtained a second degree in counselling and therapeutic practice; she now runs her own consulting practice and cooperates with charitable organizations. Richard, meanwhile, gradually changed his profession after the first win: he left hairdressing and now happily works as a courier, helping deliver parcels to local residents. Both emphasize that their daily responsibilities have not changed, and they have no specific plans for the future, choosing instead to enjoy the moment.
